New Features
  • Location on Wi-Fi: NAO® SDK Android and iOS supports Wi-Fi Cell-ID as a sensor for the location service.
  • Moving sites: If a site is moving on the Earth map, such a ship, you can feed the NAO® SDK with the location and heading of your site; Developers can refer to the new interface: setExternalLocation().
  • I/O Transitions with open air rooftops: If the user is standing on a rooftop, the NAO® SDK can rely on the GPS as a sensor for providing location; This is particularly useful when you have a parking garage where the last floor has no roof.

Fixed Issues

  • [iOS] Removed deprecated use of UIWebView API.
  • [Android] Crash due to deprecated getDeviceId() API use.
  • General stability enhancements (crash fixes on Android and iOS).

Improvements

  • iBeacon whitelist configuration for iOS and Android 9+ (Android SDK 28+).
