• NAO® Cloud

  • Location history: added new controls on the NAO Cloud history page, including next/previous position navigation, autoplay with two speeds, and pause functionality.

• NAO® Logger

  • In the "Tracking" menu, you can now search for a tag by scanning its QR code. Previously, the tag label or name had to be manually entered.

• NAO® Viewer

• Tag counting:

  • Zones are now sorted by alert levels (alert, warning, notice, etc.).

  • Favorite zones can now be added in the counting interface, allowing filtering by favorites.

  • The positions of tags in the "test_device_count" category are now displayed on the counting page to assist with testing.

  • Different icons for zone types: default is a circle, and a square icon is used for understocking (alert threshold < warning threshold < notice threshold).

• NAO® Server

• A command was added to delete tags of a given site IDs and all of their location history files. More on our Knowledge Base.

• NAO® Cloud

  • Tag Management:

    • When deleting tags in batch, tags without logs are still deleted, while those with logs are now archived. Archived tags are hidden by default and can only be seen by Pole Star admins.

    • When a tag is deleted:

      • on NAO CLoud (SaaS): Location history files are retained even when tags are deleted.

      • on NAO Server (On-prem): Location history files are also removed.

        • Limitation: When a smartphone is deleted, it does not remove its location history files.

    • Added ability to delete all tags from search results without selecting them individually. To do this, click "Bulk action > Delete tags" on the search results page, and all tags from the search will be deleted.

    • The default number of displayed tags has been increased from 50 to 500.

  • 3rd party BLE listeners monitoring:

    • If a BLE listener reports unknown tags or empty messages (no tag seen), NAO Cloud will not consider it “critical” anymore. Any message received from this BLE listener will set its status to “Healthy”.

  • Deployment Plan Improvements:

    • Deployment Plan Reset: Added a feature that allows resetting the deployment plan by deleting all labels. This option is available in the Action menu, complete with a warning and a backup of the previous deployment plan. Ideal for yearly deployments where the old plan needs to be preserved for future rollbacks.

    • Renumbering Beacons: A new feature allows reordering beacon numbers to maintain sequence if devices are deleted during the deployment planning process. It is accessible from the Action menu and includes a backup of the previous plan.

      • Limitations: The operation will fail if any devices are already installed on the site.

    • Action Menu Update: The Action menu has been reorganized with headers and categories to improve usability.
      

• NAO® Viewer 

• Miscellaneous:

  • Improved UI feedback for errors during requests.

  • Zone polygons are now hidden by default (can be enabled in the configuration page > map settings of NAO Viewer or NAOCloud, under deployment settings). 

  • Added option to display OpenStreetMap (OSM) on the map (available in configuration page > map settings of NAO Viewer or NAOCloud, under deployment settings).

  • Added an option in geonotifications to manage alert display on the map.
