You and add other users to your site with specific roles. The platform supports 2 types of roles: Cloud operators and Field operators. The Cloud operators are valid platform accounts, can access the site via a web browser, the Field operators can only use the mobile applications used to deploy the solutions.
The Cloud operators can have one or several roles, each with specific rights allowing the user to access specific parts of the site.
An user can have different roles for different sites.
From your site and click on Users and Field operators in the left menu. From this screen you can allow other NAO Cloud accounts to access your site. Enter the email address of the NAO Cloud account you want to add, select the roles (can be multiple). If the user account with that email does not exist then NAO Cloud will create it with an auto-generated password. You can then send the email and password to that user.
The field operators may not have platform accounts for various reasons (e.g: seasonal field operators, etc) It might seem easier to just give them your platform credentials to use mobile deployment tools, but it is very inadvisable to do so. The platform provides delegate access to cover these cases: a temporary login/password is generated by the platform that allow the field operators without platform account to use the field tools. They can share the same delegate access, as long as they specify their name in the mobile tools.
Deployers are other platform users with valid accounts, that you entrust the field operations of your site to. For now, only admin users can add deployers to a site. Each deployer can have specific operation rights. One may have access to “Learning” mode in the NAO Logger, another may only have access to “Demo” mode, etc.
From your site and click on Users and Field operators in the left menu. From this screen you can delegate the field operation tasks to other NAO Cloud users in the Add new deployers panel. For each deployer (field operator), you can give specific operation rights in the Custom user rights .
