Tags & assets overview

Overview

The Tags & Assets page lets you view and manage all trackable devices in your application. You can filter, search, edit, and perform bulk operations on your tags, smartphones, and metadata devices.

Access: Applications > [Your Application] > Tags/Devices (left navigation menu)
URL Pattern: `/applications/{application_id}/nao_trackables`




[ 1 ] Quick Stats

At the top of the page, you'll see:

- Total Devices: All assets in your application
- Detected Devices: Devices seen in the last 7 days (click to change date range)
- Max Authorized: Your license limit
- Low Battery: Devices with battery ≤ 25% (tags only)



Finding Asset

Type to search by name, tracking ID, or property values.

Filters

[ 3 ] Saved Filters: Quick access to your saved filter combinations
[ 4 ] Property Filters: Filter by custom property values
[ 5 ] Battery Level (tags only): 0-25%, 25-50%, 50-75%, 75-100%
[ 5 ] Category: Filter by device category
[ 5 ] Type: Tag, Smartphone, or Metadata
[ 5 ] Status: Active or Inactive

Viewing Trackables

[ 6 ] List Controls

Above the asset list, you'll find:
- [ 7 ] Multiple Selection Toggle: Enable to select multiple assets for batch operations
- [ 8 ] Subtitle Selector: Choose what displays under each asset name (last seen, category, external ID, etc.)
- [ 9 ] Sort Options: Sort by subtitle, category, battery, or type in ascending/descending order

[ 10 ]List View

Each trackable shows:
- Name and tracking ID
- Selected subtitle (last seen, category, etc.)
- Battery level (tags only) - color-coded green/orange/red
- Active status (green) or inactive (grey)

[ 12 ] Map View

Switch to the Map tab to see assetslocations on the floor plan. Click devices on the map to select them.



[ 11 ] Managing Assets


Single Asset

1. Click a asset in the list
2. View details in the right panel (represented as [...] icon)
3. Use action buttons:
   - Show: View full details
   - Edit: Modify attributes
   - Delete: Remove asset
   - Properties: Manage custom properties

Multiple Trackables

1. Enable "Multiple Selection" toggle
2. Click trackables to select multiple
3. Edit common properties in the right panel
4. Submit to update all selected at once

Adding Trackables

 [ 15 ] Single Trackable

Click the blue + button (bottom-right) to create a new asset.

[ 13 ] Associate Tag

Click the pink link button to associate a metadata tag with a physical tag.

[ 14 ] Import CSV

Click the pink **import** button to bulk import trackables from a CSV file.

CSV Format:
- Required: tracking_id, name, category, kind
- Optional: external_id, is_active, custom properties



[ 10 ] Bulk Operations

Delete Filtered Trackables

1. Apply filters to show desired trackables
2. Click menu button (top-right)
3. Select "Delete Tags in List"
4. Confirm deletion

Delete All Trackables

1. Click menu button (top-right)
2. Select "Delete All Tags"
3. Confirm deletion (use with caution!)



Tips

- Battery Alerts: Orange/red battery icons indicate devices needing attention
- Date Filter: Use detected devices filter to find recently active trackables
- Saved Filters: Create and save frequently used filter combinations
- Multi-Edit: Select multiple trackables to update properties in bulk
- Map Sync: Selections in list and map are synchronized



Mobile Layout



On mobile devices, the page uses a 3-step layout:
1. Filters - Apply search and filters
2. List - View and select assets
3. Details/Map - View details or map
