Tags & assets

Overview 

Info
The asset page is the central hub for managing and monitoring all trackables (tags, smartphones, metadata) in your application. It provides filtering, searching, sorting, multi-editing, and real-time location tracking capabilities.

 1  Status Bar


Metrics Displayed (Left side of status bar)
- Total Devices: Count of all assets
- Detected Devices: Assets detected within selected date range (click to open date picker)
- Max Authorized: License limit for trackables
- Low Battery: Count of trackables with battery ≤25% (only for Tag type)
Global Menu (Right side of status bar)
- Bulk actions:
  - Delete All Tags: Remove all trackables from application
  - Delete All Tags in List: Remove only filtered/visible trackables

 2  Search input


- Location: Top of left panel
- Searches: Trackable name, tracking ID
- Behavior: Press Enter or click search icon to apply
- Clear: Click X icon to clear search

 3  Saved Filters


- Usage: Click on a saved filter to apply it
- Management: Saved filters are created and managed in the Filters menu
- Indicator: Active saved filter is highlighted

 4  Default Filters (Property Types)


- Usage : filer on tag properties
- Content: Shows all property types configured for your application
- Usage
  1. Select a property type to display
  2. Select values to filter on
- Clear: Click "Clear Filters" to reset

 5  Quick Filters 


Usage : filter on tag attributes
Battery Level Filter : Options: 0-25%, 25-50%, 50-75%, 75-100% ( Applies to Tag-type assets only)
Category Filter : Dynamically populated from existing assets categories
Type Filter :  Tag, Smartphone, Metadata
Status Filter :  Active, Inactive

 6  List Options


 7  Multiple Selection

- Toggle: Enable/disable multi-select mode
- Usage: Click assets to select multiple for batch operations
- Deselect: Click "Deselect" button to clear selection

 8  Subtitle Field

- Purpose: Choose which field displays as subtitle in list items
- Options: tracking_id, category, kind, battery, last_seen_at, loc_updated_at, or any property type

 9  Sort By

- Fields: Subtitle field, Category, Battery, Kind
- Direction: Ascending or Descending
- Behavior: Sorts visible/filtered assets only

Combining Filters
- All active filters use AND logic
- Example: Battery 0-25% + Category "Worker" + Property "Department=IT" shows only IT workers with low battery

 10  Asset list


 Display
- Title: Asset name + tracking ID
- Subtitle: Configurable field (see Subtitle Field)
- Icon: Battery indicator for Tags
- Color: Green (active) or Grey (inactive)
- Pagination: 100 items per page
Interactions
- Single Click: Select asset , show details, center on map
- Multi-Select: Select multiple asset for batch editing

- Single Selection: View and edit asset attributes and properties
- Multiple Selection: Multi-edit form for batch updates

 13  Add New (+)

- Action: Create new asset
- Location: Bottom right

 14  Link Tag

- Action: Associate tracking ID with trackable
- Location: Bottom right (above Add)
- Use Case: Link physical tags to metadata entries

 15  Import CSV

- Action: Bulk import trackables from CSV file
- Location: Bottom right (above Link)
