Tag Asset Dissociation

Overview

Remove all properties from a tag and its associated journey. This resets the tag for reuse when a journey is complete or needs to be cancelled.

Access: NAO Flow > Tag Asset Dissociation

Which Tags Can Be Dissociated?

A tag appears in the dissociation list if it meets ANY of these conditions:

1. Has a property with code "trackable_name"
2. Has a name that is different from its tracking ID
3. Has an ongoing journey that matches its tracking ID
4. Tag must be switched on



Quick Start

1. Select tag from dropdown list
2. Review summary displayed on top right
3. Click Confirm button
4. Tag is dissociated and reset
5. Tag is available for reuse



Step-by-Step Process

1. Select Tag

- Choose tag from dropdown list
- Only eligible tags appear (see conditions above)
- Tags must be switched on to appear

2. Review Summary

- Summary appears on top right of screen
- Shows what will be removed:
  - All tag properties
  - Associated journey
  - Custom tag name
Notes
If journey is in progress, all progress will be lost

3. Confirm

- Click Confirm button
- Tag is immediately dissociated



What Happens After Dissociation

The dissociation process will:

1. Remove all tag properties one by one
2. Reset tag name to its tracking ID
3. Delete associated journey that matches the tag's tracking ID
4. Clear tag from current step
5. Make tag available for new association



Common Issues

Tag not in list: May not be associated or inactive
Can't dissociate: Check you have permissions
Button disabled: Select a tag first
Tag still appears: Refresh page or wait a moment



Tips

- Dissociate promptly when journeys complete
- Verify correct tag before confirming
- Keep log of completed journeys if needed
- Tag can be reused immediately after dissociation
